Currently has manley I-beams, Diamond pistons, billet oil pump gears and good valvesprings/retainers. Pulling it soon to sleeve the stock block and go back together with it. The car hasn't seen a dyno recently with this config so just estimating power from weight and trap speed. We are thinking 1000-1100 at the wheels currently. Hopefully more than that after sleeving and more boost.

Nice!

yea i know the stock block gets a little iffy above 1000. Can't wait to see 7s with sleeves and more boost :)

Not sure what you mean, original post says:

"Stock block, heads and cams"

Doesn't say stock engine anywhere.

Impressive build ! Congrats

Thanks, I overbuilt the car so it would be able to do what I planned to ask out of it (9.50's). Then any sort of a plan went out the window and I went crazy with it, and now we are hunting 7's. Not sure we will be able to get there, but the sleeved block will at least make me feel a little better about the longevity of the motor at the 25psi range.

I think you might be able to get there with sleeves. Def on the right path.

I've tried not to get greedy with the car and set unrealistic expectations. Feel I am getting greedy with wanting a 7.99, but we will know soon. Thinking about a chin spoiler and maybe blocking off the lower grill opening to help with aero a bit. No clue what MPH that actually starts to have an impact, but worth trying for some other gains besides just throwing more power at it.
