For most of the '03 Cobra model year, nobody believed they would ever see a deal on a Cobra. Who would have thought that 18 months after the Terminator was released, there would be rebates and below invoice pricing to anyone who walked in off the street...

I'm in no hurry and will stay on the sidelines until the frenzy dies down. ;-)

Those pics were taken in late August of '03, a couple of weeks before the first '03 Cobra rebates were offered. I should mention that the same dealer upped the ante to $1k under invoice after they found out you were a serious buyer and not just kicking tires. Back then the first stories of new Cobra coupes for $29K started popping up in different parts of the country.

Hmmm...a GT500 for $29K sounds pretty good...
