while gt cams are a bit better than stockers, the sucky thing is you still need to upgrade valve springs. so while the cams themselves can be had for pretty cheap, you need to then go spend another 3-500 on springs.

You would be better off calling Bullet Racing, and speaking with them about sending a set of stock cams and having them add a little duration to them...

So would upgraded springs, leaving the stock cams be worth it or worth anything???

I just did gt cams, with ported navi heads, livernois springs and longtubes in mine. Made exact same power with a th400 as it previously did on all stock valvetrain thru the t56. 1st time to the track after upgrades it went 6.90's @102 and 6.60's @106 on 100 shot.
Lots left in it!!
