lol, the second Ford GT ever sold was under MSRP...to Jay Leno

New 05's on lots can't even get bids over 155K on ebay. Good times, good times. The only thing dealers have left to spring on uneducated buyers is the heritage package hype.

So Doc, when you gonna trade that Z06 in for one so I can drive it!?
Darn Bruce, If I don't wreck the Z06 first, I'll probably wait and sell it when the new C6 Z06's drop to 50% of their current selling price. Of course, that assumption is based on the Z06's Cheby engine keeping all of it's rods from escaping from their proper positions. I think a Z06 is just called a plastic pig after the engine blows.

You never know. We may both have one if the price continues with it's current tumbling price momentum. You'll have to admit it would make an excellent track car.

Wonder where all the "this car is a collector car and will never sell at or below list" are right now?

Still wondering why people won't pay over list on a 4000+ unit production car :rollseyes

As history shows, once the hype is gone, so is the huge price.

In reality 4000+ is not a real small production number for a car like that. The market of buyers that can afford to pay the $150K+, or even $125K+ for a specialty car, or for that matter any car, is very limited.
