You’re right. Where I live, there are signs everywhere for places trying to hire. There are very good paying jobs that people have no interest in because they’re getting paid to sit on their butts and do nothing. The government is handing out stimulus checks and several people I talk to don’t need that money. You drive around my little town and see all the signs for hiring and they’re posting the amount they will pay. It blows me away. It explains the cost of some of these goods.

The mentality of people has changed, which drives up cost and drives up employee pay. I see people wanting more money because they can push a broom better than the next guy and they’ll quit and go work elsewhere. Employers are having to pay more money, be more flexible and outsource to others who can’t even keep up with their own demand just to get the product out the door. All of this drives up cost. Other countries who pay crap and don’t just hand out money like it’s candy can pay those lower wages because their people don’t get the same kind of government handouts.

Before you know it, fast food will be manufactured in China because we just can’t produce it at a cost effective price.

I love Capitalism, but I don’t love seeing the pan handler down the road holding his sign saying he is out of a job with 3 kids....standing under a help wanted sign, and a road between another help wanted sign.

    Yep.

A good example of labor competition is dealerships in the South. It's incredibly difficult for non-heated or cooled shops to keep good techs. Now, Dealerships are regularly built here with tech centered features/benefits to try and attract talent.

Same goes for manufacturing. Want to be competitive and able to have a qualified worker for every station? Better have HVAC, Family Leave, good insurance, good pay, and be flexible. Otherwise you're always going to have turnover/holes.

Our parent company recently rolled out a ton of Family benefits + pay restructures + Parental leave in order to attract top talent across all our different sectors. Couldn't find people. Everyone qualifies for it down to the WHS worker.

There's no way everything can be made here, but the amount that got outsourced is ridiculous. Trump didn't bring it back but he started the process. He helped create 600% more manufacturing jobs than his predecessor, despite being fought at every turn. He also only had 1 term and didn't get a chance to finish what he started. Imagine what might have been accomplished if Congress actually helped instead of spending his 4 years with baseless investigations and bullshit the whole time.

Id say maybe 5% of the panhandlers out there legit cannot work or are legit homeless.

Everyone else is a lazy piece of shit, drug addict or both. 2 arms, 2 legs and breathing? You can find a job. They simply do NOT want to work or have any responsibility. Im personally insulted to see their lazy shit bag asses have the audacity to ask me for money. **** Them.

I've always had a good time in TX. SC is pretty wide open too. Just depends on what part of town/city/state you're in.

I was in my local neighborhood Walmart today.

99.9 percent of people didn’t have masks.. the people that did had one thing in common.. which was really weird to me.

I’ll let you guess what the one thing was.. want hints ?

had nothing to do age.... had nothing to do with male or female...

    it also... wasn’t white people

Well, when your Democrat masters tell you you must wear a mask or you'll die, they'll put that non medical mask on all day if they are told to. I just lol.

Nope..still here..just don't give a rats ass about your opinions. I'm not a "liberal" btw..I voted for Bush and voted for Rubio in the 16 primary. I don't do straight party voting..I vote for some on the right and some on the left, just depends on what they are running for.
