Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. The vast majority of my previous rides have been GM. Several 2nd and 3rd gen Camaros and Firebirds. Last one I had was a modded 89 Formula 350. I didn't like the t-tops and automatic is just not that engaging. That was 4 years ago. I had enough and got into Cobras. I dislike how large the GM f-bodies are. SVT built a better, more comfortable everyday driver IMO.

I just bought my 2nd Mustang (last one was an 86 LX hatch with 5 speed and T-tops...17 years ago!!!) I picked up a 1997 Cobra. One owner car with 42,000kms (that's about 25, 000 miles) Rio red, black leather and the rear spoiler. 100 percent bone stock. And I got the window sticker and the key tags that were on the keys when the dealership had them.

I was not disappointed , the engine is a gem. And the T45 is really good too.

I think it sits awfully high though (Eibach pro kit will solve that) Gonna keep it fairly stock, wheels for sure. I love the looks of them. And it rides really nicely. I had eibachs before on my 89 Formula and found them quite comfortable.

Flew 1100kms to Brandon MB and drove it back home to Calgary AB. New tires and an out of province safety on the way

Welcome to the club!

I've had several F-bodies myself and have owned 2 Cobras. I'm a big fan of these cars even though my first one was junk lol!

I am not usually a red fan, but that looks amazing, that is one clean you cobra you found! Mine are modded some but I like to see a nice stock car also - I agree you have to lower it, can't stand the high factory stance.

I struggled a bit with red...as my soon to be winter car that I have had for 4 years (2004 Grand Am) is red too. But I didn't want to go to the USA again. A bit hard to find in Canada. I would have put pacific green and white above it but then this car had the low mileage, one owner--all that. I couldn't pass it up even though its red.

I am still learning about Mustangs and my car. It's like when you first start dating a girl! lol
