Does anyone know what the output frequency of the FPDM to drive the pumps is? From my understanding the FPDM takes a 150Hz (0-5V?) 5-50% duty cycle PWM signal from the PCM and turns it into a 10-100% 0-12V signal to drive the fuel pumps. I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere and don't have an oscilloscope handy during lockdown.
Why you ask? I'm running a new external Fuelab Prodigy pump that's got essentially a PWM control stud that allows you to treat it as variable speed. Making use of this feature would allow me to retain all the safeties, diagnostics, and features of the stock setup, while managing fuel temperatures without the need for a controller, Hobbs switch or fuel cooler.
My big concern is that the output doesn't increase the frequency at all, as the Fuelab pump requires a 500-1500Hz signal.
