Car was featured on Daily Driven.us as well. here:
http://dailydriven.us/2013/06/maxs-2009-sti/

History: Second owner, bought car at 8k miles, daily drove car until 39k miles until I decided I did not want to keep putting excessive amounts of miles on it. Long story short, a driveway clutch job ended up in me never wanting to pull the motor again, so I just built it when we took the engine out to do the clutch. Car now has 43k miles on it, motor has about 4k.

All work on the car was done by myself and an AUDI Master Technician (good friend of mine, also worked at EFI Logics, and is an ASE certified tech) Maxwell Power Services, Cleaned, decked, performed a valve job and assembled the heads to the short block using ARP head stubs, checked valve lash and timed it using all brand new timing components.

I LOVE THIS CAR, absolutely do not have to sell it. Only selling because i'm 26, and it's just time to get on with life and buy a house. If not, i'll just keep it.

Interior is MINT. Carpet's look new and only have slight wear on floor mats.

Maxwell Power Services SS.LR Shortblock
Stock heads, cleaned and decked

graph.php

VIN JF1GR89609L804889

The bad:
Carbon wing clear coat is fading, will need sand and reclear
Small scratches and paint chips here and there, not all noticeable
Fenders rub on tires in rear a bit over big bumps

NADA VALUE - 26,750
KBB Value (very good) - 29,170
Asking - 30,500.

You will not find a better built, mechanically sound car for this price that can last forever. Car is not perfect, but it gets looks everywhere I go.

Check out some of my video's on here to see what she's truly capable of.

Being a former Subie guy I can definitely appreciate the time and money spent on that parts list. Not my favorite body style, but well built all the same. Bump for you. GLWS.

Thanks man! No expense spared. Had the best builder in the Subaru industry build the motor for reliability, longevity and made sure it'd be able to take the power. One of the quietest built motor's i've ever heard!

just for hoo-ha's.

I finally watched that video and was thinking "Hmm, that sounds a little off" then I noticed it was running equal lengths. Haha. It is pretty quiet all things considered.

Sweet ride - GLWS

thanks!

It sounds quiet in that video, but it's pretty loud out side of the car, I absolutely love the sound of an external gate dumping to atmosphere though. I'm going to post this against my better judgement. NOTE: THE CAR IS NOT BEAT ON, I just had a friendly get together with a good buddy of mine, in mexico, with his '12 pullied/intake/catless exhaust Shelby GT500 with a Jon Lund tune. This is how it went.

Purpose of this video is to show you how it sounds when you're next to it and the potential this car has with the ability to still be daily driven.

You are on the wrong site to sell a $30k daily driver lol. You may want to try the Ferrari/Lambo owner's forums.

Kickass car though!
