FU@!@#@# VIRUS...HELP!!!

Okay PC guys, I need help.

I have a virus named: winVZYQACA.exe

Its a trojan. Heres the problem. I can't delete it or quarantine it.
I can't modify it or anything.

Its not on any virus list I have. And yes I updated them already.

Its in C:\documents and settings\nickmorgan\winVZYQACA.exe

I opened up my regedit and looked for it under the local machine but couldn't find anything related.

Oh, and its been on here since the 11th and crappy ass Nortons just found it.

I don't have a clue. I don't use Kazzaa anymore so thats not it.

It was downloaded at 3:54 pm on August 11th. I work from home, but can't think of what I was doing that day.

My wife may have downloaded something. I have cleaned two off of here in the past week already. I am really beginning to get pissy!!

I assume you have a network connection. I believe that some viruses can get through even without IE opened. Thus you get a firewall.

I got Norton fire wall from amazon.con for like $2. Good investment.

Yes, I have a cable modem so I am always online.

I know I need a firewall. That will happen tomorrow.

Anyone know anything about this virus?

I have the Zone Alarm Pro firewall. It has worked wonderfully for me. I can't say enough good things about it...:beer:

Maybe Norton av will eventualy get it. Is it affecting anything?

I couldn't find anything on winVZYQACA.exe, even checked out mcafee and symantec's site for new virus reports.

Me too. Norton finds it but can't do anything to it.
Only tells me its a backdoor trojan.

So I guess a *** gave it to me. Because its backdoor and a PAIN IN MY ASS.

Sorry had to vent a little.

I am still trying different things. No luck yet.

Man I know what you mean I just had my uncle look at my comp found 3 virus's and got them out thank god. I have a cable modem which he said is easier for people to hack into:shrug: but now he got me Zone alarm hope it helps :-D

I found nothing on this virus for you. Can you confirm the spelling winVZYQACA.exe

I can't find anything about it.

I can't kill it through DOS either.

Anytime I try to change any of the properties it just creates a shortcut and leaves the .exe alone.
