Fuel line O-rings?

Posting this here because it's applicable to vehicles other than my 03 GT. Yes I searched, everything I find relates to older vehicles with links that are broken or sizes listed that can't possibly work.

I am getting my ass handed to me trying to find the O-rings for the fuel line that connects from the hard line to the fuel rail. Parts stores and the local dealer are worthless.

Not only do I need the two o-rings at the spring lock but also the two inside the line where it connects to the hard line in the passenger fender.

All the "kits" I find at the store are the wrong material or there's only one of the 4 that I need.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get a complete set?

Thanks.

it would of course be more expensive than just buying the o-rings, but have you tried to find a complete nos hose assembly?

if no luck there, russell performance might have some pieces you could adapt to yours.

Try a hydraulic hose supply company. Take your line or old o rings so they can match. They have all kinds of o rings in different made materials.

Yes I still buy a new line from Ford and I may have to do that.

I don't have anything like that close to me. I am certain all the o rings except one are viton. The one I am not sure about is yellow for some reason.

Industry standards say that yellow is viton as well but I am not 100% sure. It makes me wonder if ford used something else in that one position?

Don't go on color alone. Often the companies will use/source a different color to prevent incorrect assembly at a plant. If you've got two o rings at a station that look almost identical, one way to differentiate them is color, to make sure the right ones go to the right place.

Super later update to this one but I didn't want to leave this thread open ended.

I found a Dorman fuel line connector that has the same O-rings needed for this fuel line. They are an exact match.

Here is the part number.

Blurry shot but you can see the O-rings. Digging them out and not damaging them takes time as there is a plastic spacer that needs to be removed as well between the two.

Here you can see old next to new. I slid these down on the fuel line before inserting them and they fit perfectly.

Hopefully this helps someone else in the future.

Going to bump this one more time as I want to keep everything consolidated.

I've been searching for the O rings on the fuel rail connector. They are Viton and I believe -013 size.

I didn't want to order 50 of them to only use 2 so I did a little research.

I've discovered the LMR kit LRS-9968-AR for the 86-95 cars has 4 of the 8 supplied O-rings that are the correct size for the line.

Old on the left new in the right. Yes it appears there is a minor size difference but the old O-rings fit pretty loose on the connector and are stretched.

New O-rings on the connector. They definitely felt like the right size when I plugged it into the rail. Snug fit.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future. FYI these also work on the Cobras and V6 cars.
