It's cheaper than dealing with them when the get pissed off and throw a fit.
I'd still love to have a new truck, but the prices... not to mention Obergruppen-Frau- führer Kelly, and the property taxes.

We went from "You'll live in a van down by the river", as
"You suck at life."

To it being marketed " Oh wow, we could just live in this van down by the river!" as "Living!"

It doesn't help that no one want to work , the vehicles are 5x as complex as a decade ago and, the people in Washington's only plan for inflation is to give checks to people to buy wheelbarrows to carry cash, before just putting it all on plastic.
