Gear install question

Those of you that have installed 3.73 or lower gears.....did you lose the cruise control ?

After a little bit of reading I found that up to model year '10.....you could only change gears 10% (3.55 to 3.73 or 3.73 to 4.10) and then after that you lose the cruise.

If this still holds true for a '13 then the highest gears you could put in it would be a 3.55.

Not true. You can still have cruise control. Couple guys have installed 3.73, 4.10 and none have mentioned that issue

Mine works just fine, 3.73s.

That was only true through 2010. And it only permitted up to 5% change. 2011+ your good to go.

That's not true at all in any MY. I've had a 2007 and a 2008 with 4.10 and had cruise.

Now I have a 12 with 4.10 and cruise.

Then you must have had one of these installed.


2005 to 2010. Cruise control.
