GEICO Extended Warranty?

So I was adding the '13 back on to the policy yesterday using the GEICO app and I noticed that my '16 had their extended warranty (mechanical breakdown coverage) on there. My wife must have just told them to cover everything. I never really looked that hard at the policy.

Does anyone have this and do they actually pay out?

I spoke to GEICO about it once, but once I asked if the mechanical breakdown would cover a supercharged car, they told me that if the supercharger was aftermarket, they wouldn't even insure the car. The conversation ended there.
