When I get one on my car we'll see just how NOT "restricted" terminators are lol
25lbs on a 9.5:1 motor on cornWhen I get one on my car we'll see just how NOT "restricted" terminators are lol
Im sure if theres a need a shop could easily fab sheet metal inlets. If i remember right the tvs case inlet is much larger than the gt500 throttlebody.sounds like a gen3r is needee
This is a badass blower, it has made over 1000whp on both Coyotes and GT500s boost only. There is no reason why it will not do so on a Terminator once turned up. This compressor is moving a fixed amount of air per revolution. The amount of air compressor can move is hardly dependent on the motor. A smaller less efficient motor will see higher boost pressures.
There isn't enough data out yet to draw a good conclusion on the 2.65. I would like to see if the IAT sensor is the same depth as it is on the 2.3. If it is, I would like to know why. That is one thing that I am very curious about.

No reason to hide it. I've had issues on the dyno too. I'm curious to see how others do with the blower. It takes more than one data point to come to a good conclusion. If I were them I wouldn't have released this video or the numbers. They are aware they are having ignition issues after 6k. Might be 20-40hp left in there.
what are the benefits of the lfp intercooler? i agree with you an a gt500 h/e and j2fab flow mod, just not sure of the lfp cooler. This is why I am thinking of the LFP intercooler, 13-14 GT500 HE, and the J2 or Cobra Engineering inlet/outlet upgrade for the intercooler on my car.

back to the thread topic. there is going to be a point where the 4.6 (stock) just cant make any more hp. i believe the gen 3 is a better blower and flows more but how much more can the 4.6 take. the gen 2 2.3 is a GREAT match with a stockish 4.6. clearly the gen 3 2.65 sees bigger gains on teh coyote and gt500 set ups because those engines are much more efficient and more advanced. give the 2.65 some time and folks will be making some good gains with more mods

my takeaway from this is this: if you already swapped from your stock blower and want more power, go turbo.
that is all.
