Getting wheels painted, looking for ideas

I dropped my wheels off to the painter today and still have not fully commited to a color. Thinking gloss black or dark charcoal metallic. Worried the the black would be too much even though I Do dig the black on black look. Also considering dark grey, any thoughts?

Just saw a thread in the Pics & Videos forum where someone just painted these same wheels a satin black. Came out nice.

Gunmetal gray would look sweet, all black on a black car is too much for me unless your into the murdered out look but some cars can pull it off. But I vote gunmetal gray with matching Cobra letters on the back.

I was going to do the wing mod, but have decided on a Saleen spoiler.

the front bumper looks squished on the 99-01s.... rims look to big, i would just go alittle darker

As for the wheels, I would do the gunmetal, or satin black.

Here is a pic of mine with flat black wheels. I have since sold them and replaced them with the stock satin ones in 17x9 & 17x10.5

Take a look into hypersilver. I did my ccw's in hypersilver and get tons of compliments on how it goes with a black car.

DSG looks good on a stock 03 wheel.
