got a dyno run done

ok so my numbers seem alittle disappointing. i datalogged the car in the process so i can order a AED tune but numbers are as follow
3rd gear run:
365 hp
320 tq

4th gear run:
425hp
341 tq

mods
12 Auto 5.0
boss manifold
jlt intake
accel coilpacks
bbk 1 3/4 longtubes
bbk o/r xpipe
jpc overaxles
borla stype mufflers
3.55 gears
bama 93 race tune

thats because you should have dyno'd in 5th gear which is 1:1

regardless of dyno

Actually 425hp is really good for an automatic. I made 413 rwhp and have been 11.01 @123.9, dyno's are a tuning tool, it doesn't tell you how fast your car is. 1/4 mile trap speed tells you if the car is making power.

i was getting ready to say the samething.. i made 388 with my below parts so 425 is good with a boss and LT added.

I don't personally like spinning my drivetrain to 181mph so it's 4th gear for me and my 3.31s. As 04comp said, it's all about the timeslip. That's the most important piece of paper you can get for your car. Who cars how much power a car is making if it's slow as balls?
