Isn't the 6.2 a mod engine? If so, the fitment should be the same as a 5.4/5.8. And the Lightning didn't have a "giant" blower, did it? Wasn't it the same little 1.9L that was on the '07-'09 GT500? That blower isn't very big at all. Even the 2.1L blower on the '10-'12 GT500 isn't what you'd call "giant."

No, it is not part of the mod family

Just going by the bore spacing differences between the 5.4 mod and the 6.2, you are looking at a minimum of 3" length difference between blocks. I believe the deck height is significantly larger on the 6.2 also.

Lightning blower is like the 1.8 on a cobra but the intake elbow is on the top not the side. First gt500 had 2.2 new ones have 2.3

The intake came over the top of the blower on a lightning. So when it's swapped into a mustang it...well...
