Hey guys,

Hopping on the rollers soon with some updates to the mods.

1st round had JLT, Corsa Cat-back w x pipe and tune. made 714rwhp/566tq

Second round added:
VMP Apex lid
VMP billet manifold
VMP Race intercooler
SPE 170 Tstat
SPE fixed Idler
SPE 2.6
Whipple tensioner
Shiftek o/r pipes
Gates 675hd
91 oct..... for now

Hopping on rollers next week. Tuned by hot carl:)

Whats your guess? I'm going 791

I think you'll be somewhere between 800-825. I have a similar setup but have ID1300s.

Where are you located? I bet they squeeze a bit more out if you're up in altitude.

Any Dragy Times up there?

Where are you located? I bet they squeeze a bit more out if you're up in altitude.

Any Dragy Times up there?
I'll be dynoing in the Vegas area.

I don't have a draggy but a buddy has one. I'll see if I can snag it.

Welp did 780, touch of belt slip and its safe. Stopped pull at 7450.

97 degrees on 91 oct.

Theres some more tuning I'm going to go back and do on wednesday of next week. Might be a lil more under peak. Might try 1 size smaller belt. Don't know if thats going to change anything.

It slips from 7000-7300 and starts to hook back up completely at 7350. When I go back, were going to try for 8400 rpm. FYI first pull didn't slip, follow up pulls did so seems heat in the belt/bay causes it.

Any suggestions on mitigating slip?

Do you have a Dyno graph you can post?

I upgraded to the VMP 10 RIB BELT SYSTEM!!!

Love the look of the new Apex lid!

Welllll I forgot to get one. I'll get one next week. We could see the slip on the log and graph.

It’ll help with trying to determine the cause. I’m trying to get my MPVI3 to data log properly… but since HPtuners released such an absolute piece of shit product… I’m still struggling to get it to complete a full data log.

After spending some time with Justin and the boys from VMP, they’re suggestion for my issue is either belt slip OR timing getting pulled at the higher RPM.

If you have a way to data log though you’ll be able to see either timing getting pulled or boost not climbing/tailing off.

Not sure but I’m lighting them up smashing the gas from 60mph.

I made 910 RWHP with E85 and a 2.9" U/P and a 20% L/P!!!
Never considered the lower swap as the factory piece seems impressive but I was shooting for similar results. I’m not interested in belt slip so need to see if Whipple has that issue also.

I heard a lot of people have problems with 3.8 Whipples rotors !!!
