The GT pumps are not a direct replacement for the GT500 pumps. They are shorter, have a smaller diameter, and the outlet is smaller too. The manifold on the top of the stock pumps will not fit and create a seal on the GT pumps because of this difference. You will have to route some fuel lines in the tank and create a Y to connect them to the discharge on the hat. The connectors are also different. It can be done as we've done many, but there is some work involved.

Do not, haven't done one of those set-ups for a few years now. Got billet hats available to make things much easier, no need to use stock stuff any more.

So what do I need to do to put the Ford GT pumps in?

The Ford GT pumps are very easy to put in.
Take old pumps out of stock asm replace with the ford GT pumps.(the GT pumps come with lines on them already(remove with caution) the pumps have a plastic hose end, they will break .
The gt pumps also use a different connector you need to replace the female ends on the stock asm wires to the pumps.

The GT pumps work very and will support a little over 800rwhp with no issues.
Have used them in many setups( 700rwhp plus setups ) and a couple with a little over 800rwhp with zero issues.........(the GT pumps support more then some say) the are a good amount better at higher pressure then the stock pumps)

Link to the hats? I didn't see them for the 08 GT500 on your site.
