This will be my 3rd Shield 45 in less then two weeks.

1st had the external safety and you know the saying

2nd was no safety

Then I saw the Performance Center version and had to do it. Traded in my 2nd and added $50 on top

Already ordered the Apex trigger kit for it. Can't wait to test it out.

What movie is that from? And what does the PC version have besides sights on the shield?

Thanks. We both need a lot of work. Got to find out out why she always shoots low. Going to get her in a class soon. I really need to work on follow up shots.

I'd bet she's just preparing for the kick.

I taught mine to shoot by dry firing. Once she could pull the trigger, and not move the gun off the target, we start live firing; helped her a lot.

What did you use to cut the foam?

I just used a 4" pocket knife blade. It cut it very smooth and was pretty simple.

Maybe. She shoots better with the Glock than the Beretta. I think she justs needs an unbiased third party telling her what to do. I'm either too "mean" or patronizing. But on the flipside to that, she likes going to the range with me. So it's a win regardless.

So do you think your cuts were jacked or just your measurements for the case?

I think I wasn't patient enough lol The guns all fit nice and snug. I just preferred the extremely straight edged look of my Plano crate last time.

Got an email from Aero Precision that their M4E1 uppers were back in stock. Was just going to order two. Looking at the price of ordering the upper and handgaurds separately compared to ordering them as a combo, you save $30 on one and $40 on the other. Plus they have a Presidents' Day sale. So my intention of ordering 2 uppers turned into 2 uppers and 2 handgaurds (both keymod, 7in and 9in). All because my wife convinced me to do it. This woman is up to something.

Made an impulse buy today while visiting Rainier Arms. Doesn't help that their store is only 1 1/2 blocks from my shop lol. I knew IWI was bringing the Galil over to the US, but other than that I knew little about it besides its history. I hadn't read anything on it but after seeing it and holding it and checking out its features I had to have it! The one I got is a .308 which is another reason I bought it as I dont have a .308 in my collection. It's just super comfortable and feels so well put together. I have spent some time with the Tavors and I love those too which is what led me to just pull the trigger on the Galil. I'm still planning on what I want to do with it but I will probably go with a Trijicon (Elcan in my dreams), broomstick, and get a suppressor and call it good. I want it to be able to do a little bit of both; reach out to 500-600 yards easily and then make it through a house somewhat efficiently.
