My dad wants to buy this. I’m not sure the price is justified but once he wants it the money is practically spent.

Holy crap, Bruno, if that's the Shadow Hawk, it starts at $4,795?

They’ll give him a little off. He’s bought two guns from them in the last two weeks.

A sig legion 10mm and that colt python 357. They smile when they see him walk in.

It’s the perfect situation for me. He buys these awesome guns and I get to shoot them when ever I want.

I'd agree that that is a perfect situation for you. How big a collection does your dad have?

Did you ever shoot a VP9SK?

I shot the full size several times and ended up with the PPQ. I like the full size a lot and that’s what lead me to look at the sk when I was looking for a more compact pistol.

I couldn’t find a good deal on any sk’s at the gun show but did score a deal on my P01. It’s a little bigger but also a great shooter.

Beautiful.

@Deceptive That rifle is awesome. I am not a fan of safe queens, but she's done her job and would look amazing on display... especially if you have a fireplace to hang it over.

That's a good looking hunting rifle. Doesn't look anywhere near 38 years old. Definitely a keeper!

Thank you guys, I am not certain as to the exact age of the .243 I can tell you that there is a picture of me at 6mos old sitting in the rack of an 11pt, 21 3/4” spread, 209lb field dressed buck with that .243 laying across it. That was 38 years ago, hell that Leupold scope I believe was on it. I know the Leupold was on it when I first shot it at 8 years old and has never been off since. The gun, other than the engraving, is all original.

I have another interesting one that is over 50 years old which is a Montgomery Wards bolt action 20ga which was my father’s first gun, all original, still shoots, I squirrel hunted for years with it.

I have a Mossberg 12ga, Glock 22 .40, SA XDS 9mm, and the Remington 7mm-Mag.

I am still deciding on a replacement for main hunting duties as I retire the .243 from hunting.

Well because I live in a cuck state....
Wanting to buy.
I’m looking for a preban glock 17 mag. 17 round capacity.

In my state of Masshole you cannot possess a mag that holds more than 10 rounds if it was manufactured after 1998.
So I’m looking for a pre 1998 mag. Not having much luck finding one up here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I already have a Smith & Wesson model 686.

I’m looking more for a collectible and I always wanted a python.

Have you given any thought to a Nighthawk Korth? In your price range but far superior in every way IMO. Without the pony, the Colt is a $1k gun...

My dad ended up buying that python for 2k. I contributed zero towards it but get to shoot it when ever I want.
He also just put a deposit on a nighthawk 1911 but I’m not familiar with the Korth.

Edit. Just looked them up. Holy ****.

No comparison whatsoever. Pythons are on par with a SW 686 but command ridiculous prices because they have a pony on the side and they have been out of production for the past 30 yrs. Prices are likely at peak and will have trouble holding up if Colt reintroduces the Python (they just came out with a snub nose 38, I forget the name but it is a POS).

The Korth is a work of art, on par with a swiss watch. If your dad really wants to get jiggy with it, have him get an original Korth. Expect to pay >$8k but they will hold their value.
