I know they're good guns, but I just have a hard time getting in to the Walther's.
I EDC a PPS M2 and I really like it. The trigger on the PPS is heavy, but not bad at all. The PPQ has a 1911-like trigger. It feels like it is under 5lbs. That is what really sold me on it.

Get an Apex trigger if you want it to be really nice. I have in 9/40/45 and love them all. The 45 is my favorite, it will outshoot most production 1911s.

The furthest I can shoot around here is about 660 yards. I have a friend about 3 hours North of me that you can go up to about 1,000 yards, I'm going to head that way when it cools down a bit.

Where you going? Up to Omaha?

I have 4 Walthers. For the money, they are hard to beat. Trigger and ergonomics are outstanding on all.

My friend bought a PPQ in 40sw 9-10 years ago and I was surprised how good the stock trigger is. The problem with firearms is at any given point I'm interested in about five different ones and budget limits what I can do. Knowing I can shoot his when I want has helped me buy other weapons. I do see myself picking one up at some point.

Something new. 226 Dark Elite in 357 Sig. Got the 40 cal conversion barrel as well. E2 grips are too small for me so I swapped for some Hogues.

Been on the lookout for a "nice" Chinese military SKS for awhile now and just picked this one up; 1970 prodution (arsenal 316), all numbers matching, and in 9+/10 shape.
