Felt great in the hand. Now time to research a good red dot.

I absolutely love mine. This is coming from a guy who shoots mostly 2011's in competition. This gun has been so fun that I also bought the foundations version as my truck gun. I use the Elite for my indoor competitions. I threw a Holosun 507 C on the Elite. I put a Timney alpha competition trigger in both of mine. It definitely made the gun better.

Are you seeing any using Springfield's 2011? If so, I am just curious how reliable they are. If my canik ever sells, I may put the funds toward one for a range/hunting gun.
I did have the 5 inch Prodigy DS. Like most of the earlier ones, it had issues. I sent it back and they reamed the chamber and did some polishing and I never had another issue. It is a good gun for the money. The grip was a little big and it was a stretch for me to do fast mag changes in regards to reaching the mag release. You don't want to have to change your grip to reach the mag release. I didn't want to change out the mag release so I ended up selling it and bought a Masterpiece Arms 2011.

One broken pin, several hours of adjustment later, it's finished.

Things I will never do again:
Zev trigger- way too much of a pain in the ass to adjust.

Build a glock.

Build details: SCT19 serialized frame, psa dagger slide with threaded barrel, zev trigger, ghost 3.5lb connector, wolf competition spring kit, strike 80 magwell, cyelee calf v2 red dot.

Well took my VP9 with VV red dot, Shadow System with Holosun red dot and my Beretta 92X with Iron Sights to PSA for a shoot.

Shadow Systems, sighted in pretty easy, can't say I like the Holosun any more than I like the VV although the solar power is a nice option on the Holosun. Gun had zero FTF/FTE which is always nice out of a new weapon. Enjoyed it!

VP9....sighted back in red dot, love this weapon but I feel like they pulled too much metal off the slide. Gun is stupid light but still a blast to shoot.

Beretta 92X....the MVP. Yes it is heavy but what a FANTASTIC shooter. Everything is amazing about this weapon. This trigger is AMAZING. The weight absolutely helps this weapon. Even with Iron sights I was on target consistently. I'm sure at some point it bit me although I didn't notice at the time. It is sharp in some areas. Totally my fault.....great day. :)

Didnt know you were a white dude? For some reason, I thought you were black. Lol… Might have had you confused with someone else…

Good stuff at the range, bro. Nothing wrong with iron sights, they will get the job done… Never been a big beeretta fan…

which one would you grab out the door (if you could only grab one) for zombie apocalypse right meow, im guessing the HK?

All the little thimble jokes didn't tell you I was white? BAHAHAHA

Beretta...easy. Workhorse of a weapon, more than trained with them, ambi. I don't know if I would grab an X for such an occasion over another model however.

Went to one of the ranges in the area and for the remainder of this weekend only, they are giving an HK VP9 free, with the purchase of yearly membership….

This is very very tempting since I have been looking to get a membership at a place anyway…

****!!! Sooo tempted….
