Ordered my first mods for the M4. My wife just got a fat bonus so she's getting these for me for Christmas. She just doesn't know it yet.

Very Nice, I need to find a good over sized bolt release now. Eventually I plan to do that. Won’t be anything fancy, couple hundred.Nice! I went with the rx ti + oversize bolt release. Although it violates my no Canada policy I was willing to overlook because their shit is nice.

Without spitting on it?I learned the the charging handle on my Mossberg 940 just pulls out and pops back in. Is this the same on the M4?

I cant use/dont want to use a shotgun for home defense. Not even my SBS. It's a terrible option for me.What are you guys running for shotshells for home defense and range?
Thanks, I just watched a video on chokes....I noticed the Benelli or atleast mine came with a black steel choke with two notches which I believe means it's an "improved modified".I cant use/dont want to use a shotgun for home defense. Not even my SBS. It's a terrible option for me.
As for the range/hunting, I mostly shoot cheap lead target shot because steel sucks. We dont shoot migrating water fowl. We very seldom shoot buckshot. I recently patterned my SBS one type of buckshot w/ the new fancy Pattern Master black mamba choke and the results were far below my expectations. I will pattern some more buckshot to see what the gun likes if any. I prefer shooting low brass due to less recoil which is another reason we dont shoot buckshot. I've seen zero difference beside more recoil doing from 2 3/4 to 3" shells of the same type.
Dont get caught up in the fairy tale shotgun shell manufacturer propaganda that their expensive shells are the lords gift to us. Patterning tells me all I need to know.
I forgot about them having notches because mine have it written on them. Usually oem's have steel chokes so you dont have to shoot strictly lead. Some aftermarket chokes I have are aluminum and I cant shoot steel from them. While it's doable, over time, the steel shot will push the choke making the choke not able to be unscrewed. Some tighter than full chokes are too small for slugs. Thanks, I just watched a video on chokes....I noticed the Benelli or atleast mine came with a black steel choke with two notches which I believe means it's an "improved modified".
Shotgun shells dont need to be fancy...they are similar from brand to brand. What are you guys running for shotshells for home defense and range?
While I agree I still think you need to pay attention to the buckshot pattern, I prefer anything high velocity over low simply due to the pattern.Shotgun shells dont need to be fancy...they are similar from brand to brand.
I would think anything from high brass 6 down to OO buck in the tit would suck in the hallway lolWhile I agree I still think you need to pay attention to the buckshot pattern, I prefer anything high velocity over low simply due to the pattern.
They dont...was just using highbrass for 6 shot lolI didnt know they made low brass buckshot.
