With a heavy heart I have to list the car for sale. I found a deal on an R and need to let my baby go to make room. A full for sale advertisement will come soon, but if you are interested please review my build thread and send me a PM

**Advertisement listed in the Market section**

Up for sale is my 2016 GT350. My vehicle has the first Ford Performance GT350R Transmission and cooler upgrade. The only difference between my vehicle and a 2017 convenience package is there is no rear differential cooler, but this will not stop you from enjoying the car on track. Ford will be releasing a kit for the rear differential soon. The only reason I am selling this car is because I have an opportunity to purchase a GT350R at sticker. This is a zero issue car. Anything styling wise can be easily changed for the buyers preference.

Cruise it. Show it. Track it.

I have a well documented build thread on my vehicle posted on several forums and will provide links below. They are full of all the pictures and info you could want about my car. I could try to list everything that has been done, but that would make this advertisement too long and unappealing to the eye. I have built this car to be comfortable on the road, head turner at the car show, and a performer at the track.

Any potential buyer will have to consider that you can go purchase a new GT350 for MSRP, but you are going to have to hunt for it. If you care about keeping the car in good shape you will still need to add the paint protection film and ceramic coating at the cost of a few grand. If you want to add some style/performance then LED lighting, 350R aerodynamics, lighter wheels for the track, brake studs, etc will all cost time and money. My vehicle already has all that work done, and you will be able to enjoy the car immediately for less money then if you built it yourself.

The vehicle has had the oil line recall completed. Sync V3 and apple play are installed. Vehicle warranty still active. Warranty on paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coating all active. Owners kit will be included. I have had the car out for one autocross event, but no track days.

I am not taking any parts off this car for sale separately. I am willing to work with you on price to make it beneficial to both parties, but will remove parts from the car to reuse on the R as the price decreases. I will discuss how that will work with any potential buyer. I would like to keep my wheels and will adjust the price down if we can make that work.

Man, today has been emotional.

Got my VIN for the R yesterday and was super excited. Also confirmed pricing was at MSRP, but noticed the pricing seemed a little low for the options I ordered. I searched the car in COTUS and my heart dropped. The R electronics package was left off. It was late in the day when I discovered this so I scrambled to contact the dealer. I had a feeling all hope was lost since the car already had a VIN assigned. I also had a deposit placed on my car Wednesday, and was scheduled to complete the sale today.

My brain kept swirling with questions. Can changes be made? Would I be able to get an 18 allocation? Could I add the stereo after? Should I still sell my car? Should I buy a Raptor instead? Where is Iron Man when I need him? Spoke with my salesman and he wanted to throw up also. Told me he would work on it and get back to me.

Sold my GT350 this morning. Got 62k for it which was right close to my asking price. Car ended up selling mostly as advertised with a few things removed. The new owner loved the wheels, so I was sad to see them go. Everyone at the bank came outside to see it and couldn't believe I let it go.

As I am completing the transfer documents to the new owner I get a call from my salesman. He informed me they were able to change the order and get the electronics package added back in. I do not know how, but I am thankful.

Will be tough living without the Shelby for a few. Good news I was able to pay off all my student loans with the positive cash I have and still have a decent amount left over for the down payment on the R. Will be almost debt free save for the new ride.

Appreciate everyone who has been following along, and the gentleman that put me onto this allocation. I will introduce him and the dealership when the car arrives.

Now I wait......

What benefit are you getting out of an R? You have the same performance and more luxury items, plus all the parts and time wrapped up in this one already.

I spoke to a guy that has an R, he bought aftermarket wheels for it because noone will touch the carbon wheels and if you damage them driving your're screwed.....so many pot holes around American cities.

Nice car though!

Performance wise the gap was smaller after all the parts I added. The R was the car I wanted initially though. No matter what I would have done i still would have always lusted for the R. When the MSRP deal came about I couldn't pass it up.

I set parameters for what would need to fall in place before I would make the switch. Everything had to line up, and somehow it all did. No harm to me financially so I couldn't pass it up.

Sad to see her go as well. My wife and I were pleased to meet you and your son at Cars and Coffee. I was the guy with the Grabber Blue 5.0 "WHPLD50" on the freeway. Beautiful car but excited to see what the next one brings.

See ya around.

That car was unreal perfect, I love love love it. I may of missed it but what color R did you get? I think you made a smart move, down the road the R will hold it's value even better than the already well value holding non R cars.

Please make another build thread, I love the detail and attention you put into them and take time to take pics and then hit some decent spots for some finished pics. Thanks and I've had a pleasure keeping up with the current built so I can't wait for the future one. Congrts again.

Reminiscing about old times and came across the last pictures of the car I had never posted. Two were taken down at Knotts by my good buddy @Jwautoworks on the Gram. The other two were taken by @Conley916 who is a photographer that works with my sponsor Imperial works.

Upon reflection it was interesting to see how polarizing my build was. Some people loved it and reached out to me via PM or on Instagram to ask questions or give thanks. Others hated it and commented so publicly or just never posted in my build. Either way it was well worth the journey, and it will be interesting to see what the next chapter brings....

Thanks brother. The car came together well, and it always drew a crowd wherever I went. It sold for a decent price too, and the new owner is off loving the car.

It was a pleasure meeting you as well. Hopefully when I come back in a few months you guys can check out the new ride. Your GB 5.0 is absolutely beautiful man. It is definitely one of the nicest ones I have ever seen.

Oh, you're excited? It's just a mustang bro....
But I heard this one makes you run faster and jump higher like the PF Flyers did.

Will be even cooler with that special coolant reservoir... this bad boy will see some miles as often as possible. No more garage queens for me.
