Harris Hill Open Track Day

I wanted to share some photo's of the Texas Cobra Clubs track day at Harris Hill Road 1.8 mile track in San Marcus Tx. I was the only Terminator that attended from the SCAT club (Shelby Cobra Association Of Texas).Of course there where easily 200 Cobra's there and a hand full of CVAR vintage race cars. 58 cvar vette, ERA GT40, And a ZR1 Vette. A VERY impressive car. We ran a total of five 20 min sessions. With 3 classes, Novice,Intermediate, Advanced. I was in Intermediate.. The track day was to raise money for a charity called Operation Comfort. Operation Comfort provides support to our service members who have been wounded in Afghanistan or Iraq and are receiving treatment at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). All the track fee's where donated to Operation Comfort. The Terminator did great. I didn't have any problems keeping up with 90% of the Cobra's. Except the ZR1. Only changes I did to the car where Hawk HP+ pads F/R, front Brake ducts, and made a taller front airdamn under the car to help cooling. The brakes never faded once, so the ducts did there job.. Enjoy!!!!

Thanks.I was running the Toyo R888 315 on the rear,which are amazing tires,and Sumitomo HTRZ on the front. Naturally this made the car understeer alittle. but over all handled great for a full weight car.

Thanks for the compiments. I had a blast, it's been a few years since I have been on a opentrack. So it was good to stretch the Cobras legs.. And it was for charity, I'm a strong supporter of our service men..
