Heart of a Terminator

I have a 2005 GT. Not long after I bought the car I began to envy to power capabilities of the 03/04 Cobra and GT500. The DOHC 5.4L is too expensive. I have found a lot of good deals on 03/04 engines. How hard would it be to give my S197 the heart of a Terminator?

You'll need the motor and the trans, I dont think the 3650s bolt right up to the termi motors. I would think that the motor mounts and everything else would be very similar though.....I have no doubts that it will require some fabrication and some tuning.

Thanks. I'm sure it's possible with enough time and money. Ive never seen it done, I think it'd be pretty awesome.

i was in the same situation as you about this time last year. i ended up just selling my 07 GT and buying an 04 Cobra

Yeah that is probably going to be my next move unless a year from now GT500 prices are in my range.
