Oe taillights that are tinted

best way to do it is mix in a tiny bit of black paint in with some clear coat and spray em. Stay away from VHT Niteshade.

What don't you like about Niteshades?
I had a pair of taillights done before that turned out really sweet, just had to make sure it was clear coated.

Stock tails here with "smoked" vinyl covers. Not blacked out ones but smoked.

Mine look just like that.

I have had a few sets done. The VHT niteshades stuff seems to be hard to get an even coat on and shows up spotty when your tail lights are on, from my experience at least.

The set on my cobra were done with a small amount of black paint mixed with clear and turned out awesome.

It's hard to get even coats and VHT likes to bubble depending on what clear you use. I've just never had good luck with it, meanwhile black paint mixed with clear is much easier and looks good at the same time. VHT looks 'dull' with the lights off, even with 5-6 coats of clear.

Hey Brian,

Although it is extremely hard to tell whether these specific tail lights are Raxioms or tinted stock taillights (as that is the look that Raxiom went for) the Raxiom Smoked Taillights will get you pretty darn close to this exact look!

Thanks for the shout White Snake, I think these look right at home on a Cobra.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions
