Ok guys ive always planned on keeping my car silver since it was originally and its one of my favorite colors. That being said there are many options, and im really liking the matte/satin silver. I just dont want it to look like primer or unfinished. But i think if i do it right it will really look one of a kind. And im definitely going for that different look.

Satin > Matte finish, that truck looks awesome! And I like what you're doing with the front bumper

Reading your post I thought gloss
But after seeing the pics I think the satin would look sick. Especially like the front
Bumper. Can't wait to see it finished

First off that front bumper is nasty....I saw of pic of one mocked up with a 99/01 Cobra front bumper but don't know if its the same car. I love Matte Silver over gloss, it'll look nasty.

depends on what you are doing with the belt molding

if its going to be black... go gloss

if the entire car is goiing to be one color... go satin (NOT FLAT)

Planning on black saleens. Haha yep its an 85/86 bumper i molded to an 01 cobra lower bumper. I have hrs upon hrs into the stupid thing but i think it is worth it. I know some people wont like it but i do. And its different from the rest. Thats also why im leaning towards the matte.

Yea after doing it i saw it done on an aero(87-93 fox) i just did mine in the past 2 months and finally got the car in a 2k primer this weekend.

I was planning on black moldings. Ill be running 93 cobra side skirts and rear bumper

satin, no doubt. I'm in love with the idea of satin paint and vinyl wraps. I've always wanted a car to have that "made of billet aluminum" look.
I would seriously take an all-steel paneled car and just throw clear on the bare metal if I could. Or even something along the lines of clear anodized billet metals.

After seeing the pic with the 99/01 bumper on your car I completely forgot the question being asked for a couple of minutes lol

I can't believe how well it works with your car, whatever color/finish you go with that thing is most definitely gonna look badass!
