Greeting SVT Performance family!! Seeing some help / advise with my 2003 SVT Cobra. I just just picked up my Cobra a few weeks ago. The previous over installed a Kenne Bell 3.2 Liquid Cooled Mammoth. One thing he didn't get to complete before I purchased it was install the cooling line for the supercharger. I have all the lines and fitting to hook it up. I'm having a issue with where or how to tap into the car's cooling system. I wanted to see if anyone here has this setup and how you installed the cooling lines. Any pictures, advise, help, etc would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!

You might be able to find it here:

IIRC you tap into the intercooler lines. I wouldn't want to tap into the engine side of it.

@03' White Snake should be able to help.

Kenne Bell doesn’t offer their install manuals online. That’s the first place I started. They are still using paper! After speaking to them, they are sending me the install manual. The person I spoke to said they are in the process of uploading all their manuals to PDF to upload on their website.

Crap like this and until recently lack of online ordering has always be the most frustrating part of owning a KB blower.

I know the company was sold a year or two ago. Hopefully they can turn it around. They finally updated the 20+ year old website which is a good start. I also believe they are moving out of CA as well.

I don’t have a liquid cooled KB. We did just install one last yr or yr before on my buddies cobra swap. I can see if he still has the directions around.

Yup, old school. Wonder how a whipple 3.0 would fare against one of these.

I believe the 3.0 has a higher HP potential as it’s a much newer blower with more modern technology. I have seen 1005 whp out of a factory unopened block with cams. Not sure how long it lasted as the guy was drag racing it and began building a motor almost immediately lol

Wanted to update everyone. Kenne Bell sent me the installation booklet and received it today. After reviewing the booklet, they didn’t send me the booklet for a liquid cooled unit I reach out them them yet again and someone was able to snap some pictures and email them to me.

Don’t install it how they recommend to. They tell you to install it on the IC line you don’t want to. You want to install it on the coolant side.

Why is that?

These cars love ice boxes. If you hook your LC to the IC and use ice it will cause rapid size change and you gonna have a bad day.

I have run a normal 2.2L, 2.8L normal, 2.8LC and 3.6LC. I have run it both ways. Keeping an ice box is a good thing.

My Cobra is strictly a weekend warrior and maybe if I’m lucky 1 track rental a year. Maybe in the future I’ll do an ice box setup.

Ya just looked at your original photo wow. Go ahead and hook it up how they say for our car. I would strongly suggest you look into upgrading your cooling system. What you have in place is good for about 300hp.
