Might order headlight HIDs only from DDMtuning....want to make sure it's correct first:
35 watt /H10 bulb

What extras would you recommend getting out of all:
HID harness ($15)
error eliminator ($15)
adaptor cables ($8)
mounting brackets ($4)

None of the above lol waste of money.. I just ordered hids for my buddies suby.. ill update this thread with pics

This is only needed if your stock wiring doesnt flow enough amps to start up your ballasts i.e. your hids dont power on every time you pull the switch. If your getting the HI/LO kit than you will have a wiring harness provided with your order that will draw power straight from the battery in the same manner.
error eliminator ($15)
Not needed for Cobras.
adaptor cables ($8)

I bought a set and still just use 3M outdoor heavyweight 2 sided tape, dark gray tape with the red plastic on top.

Answers in red, I had their HI/LO kit and I didnt care for the glare in the stock housings but thats just my opinion.

Thanks!
Damn, that means it only cost $40 for the HID kit (slims)...super cheap
I didn't see any option for the high/low kit, only the option "H10/9145/9140"
Anyone know if this is high/low or just low beams?

Well both ddm head lights and fog lights took a sh*t after a month. Went back to stock lights. Forget that hassle drive a hour home with just fog lights then they went out 3 days later.

Any idea what went wrong with your stuff??? I have been running DDM for over 3 years with zero burn out bulbs or blown ballasts.

Not clue everything was plugged in and tight?????

interesting....been thinking about placing an order with them OR hidguy
Seems like DDM is a lot cheaper, and most guys usually have good luck with them working just fine

Last question, which many guys might want to know-->
Should we order the low-only kit or pay the extra $20 for high/low beams?
I ask because I read another forum member's post saying the highs just scattered the light differently, but didn't make it any brighter...and I had the same experience with another kit on my old Mach 1
Wondering if I'm better off just getting the lows

Ddm all the way for cheap reliable kits.. as for your high low.. true.. it scatters the light a lot more.. but in my experiance the "scatter" has saved my life with deer and whatnot

Hey guys, bumping my old thread.

I bit the bullet and bought DDM Tuning's Kit. 6000k heads and fogs with the hi/low kit (55w). First off, one ballast doesn't work. My buddy also bought the identical kit (but 5000k) and one of his ballasts also doesn't work. But that is besides the point.

Now, I never got a blue connector for my hi/low kit. I plugged in the hid's and wired the hi/low beams. They both turn on for the low beams, and as soon as I turn the hi beams on, only the driver side switches to high beams and the passenger side stays on low beams? Anyone have an idea?

My kit had a bad ballast also lol they sent a new one quickly. Check the bulb on the other side. They are magnetic for the high low beam it may just be stuck or just a low beam bulb

Had a similar issue with my mach.. go take a stock bulb plug it into the passenger side stock harness for the headlights and turn the hids on.. if so then you need to buy or fab up a adapter that has a few 55w at 1 ohm resistors or just keep the stock bulb in the harness untill it breaks lol

Thanks man. I called DDM and they said to switch the bulbs to see if it's a bulb issue or wiring issue. Either they will send me either part I need so hopefully I get it going soon.

All cars do that. Your factory headlights when the high beams are on shut off the fogs automatically. I want to wire mine so they always stay on.

Simpler than most think.. take your relay out under the Hood and remove the farthest right prong in the set of 3 and tada highs and fogs

Just did some 6k HID headlights tonight. Also added 6K LED fog lamp bulbs, and fixed the relay to keep them on with high beams.
