Got a 2010 GT500, when I turn the lights on they are really bright for about 1/2 second then they dim to their normal brightness. Anyone else got this going on? Is it normal? Is there a way to keep them really bright? at least temporarily. I know it would be too bright for highway driving, but would be perfect on a back country road in Texas at night. Just a thought.

yea mine are the same way they flash bright at first. not sure of a way to keep them that way. i think my lights are plenty bright on high beam.

It's normal. Start bright, dim a little then gradually brighten back up.

I'm sure you could with a bigger ballast/driver and bulbs; but not on the factory setup.
