Ahem
Ahem
All i am doing is provided statements directly from the trial you state you are watching.
Also disturbing if you watched it was the manner in which the Medics just rolled him on a gurney and hauled him away as if he was a dead pig. I found that odd to say the least.
Yeah but no CPR no anything? Odd?Rolled one dead phentynol overdose over, you rolled them all.
7 funerals and now a black youth hero, someone to be emulated.
Ya'll forgetting the context of the situation. Watch the video. Also disturbing if you watched it was the manner in which the Medics just rolled him on a gurney and hauled him away as if he was a dead pig. I found that odd to say the least.
This thread has a real racist/fake doctor/fake lawyer/fake medical examiner/fake expert vibe. Hardass too. Basically a real big loser vibe.
Ya'll forgetting the context of the situation. Watch the video.
For the most part the cops where more preoccupied watching the growing antagonistic crowd then being focused on Floyd.
The paramedics did a grab and dash because of the situation. They did drive away and tried to resuscitate him while in the safety of the vehicle.
Lack of emotional response? They see +10 junkies OD everyday. The shock and horror of someone dying has long glazed over them.
Murder is a very high bar and only 5 cops in the US have been convicted of murder since 2005. DC is being tried for murder, not incompetence.
You are providing statements directly from prosecution witnesses.
The chief is a political appointee. I would be surprised if he did not testify.
Homicide in this context is a medical term, not a criminal term. The fact that the medical examiner used this term is not super relevant.
Death from asphyxiation occurs in very short order and you typically lose consciousness in less than a minute. Tazers kill more people per year than lateral knee restraint.
The fact the prosecution witnesses are saying the same thing over and over speaks to the weakness not the strength of their position.

Are you not watching the trial? That BS knee on the neck was proven false; he was on his shoulder. Even IF he was on his neck he had no injuries to the neck. The medical examiner even stated had she not seen the video she would have ruled it an overdose.
The knee on the neck is a throw away statement proven false already of which the knee on the back is department policy.
Edit: there is almost ZERO true media coverage. The prosecution has done a terrible job trying prove their case while the defense has more than given reasonable doubt. But as all media has been portraying it as if chauvin is completely losing. Every witness the state has brought has been trash at proving the “knee on the neck” is what killed him.
Also for the record they had him restrained on the floor while the EMT was on its way, chauvin tried to put him in the car Floyd said no I want on the ground while kicking cops from the squad car and fighting them actively.
Which is called negligence and he was terminated from the force over it.This....above Gimmie. He was literally either unconscious or dead and the Police Officer was still on him. At that point he obviously was not paying attention to the person he took into custody at which he was responsibly for their well being. If anything....he needs some responsibility for this.
You mean the ones without medical bags, that didn’t check for vitals, wearing bullet proof vests? Completely normal first responder stuff...Also disturbing if you watched it was the manner in which the Medics just rolled him on a gurney and hauled him away as if he was a dead pig. I found that odd to say the least.

Again, watch the video. DC is very much distracted by an angry forming mob. Any member of which could have been armed and hostile.
Floyd wad given plenty of opportunity to comply. Where is his sense of self agency snd responsibility?
What’s the point of this post other than your apparent agreement with the last 2?
Because the cop is “distracted” gives him the authority to sit on top of an obvious dead person?
Get real bro. The whole thing was gross. They all should be accountable, Floyd and DC both.
I guess the argument is: what is the appropriate level of accountability for DC?

Let’s be honest, even if the knee never happened and they sat him up only for him to piss himself and expire, the mob still would have formed and subsequent looting taken place. The fake outrage would still be there and we’d now be talking about how they should have given narcan/cpr or never handcuffed him, etc. The goalposts are constantly being moved to place the blame solely on the party who has either the least or no amount of blame.
It’s a zero sum game being used to shift the balance of power.
Fair point and can’t say I disagree.
I don’t like the way DC conducted his business that day but you’re right... the goal posts constantly move and MSP would probably be burning for something else if the facts of the case were different.

Isn't stupidity causing death, manslaughter?Yeah, I get it as well. Perception is everything, and while I agree they should have handled it differently, the outcome would have been the same. The guy was a dead man walking, a real pos in all honesty.
Should DC be on the force, probably not though I personally haven’t delved enough into previous history and complaints to merit an opinion, nor are we probably privy to all the facts regarding his previous history. He was a scapegoat, he made just the right moves and actions to allow the blame to be placed on him. Do I think he’s guilty of murder or even manslaughter? Not in the slightest...stupidity absolutely but since when is that in itself a punishable crime though it should be in many instances.
As usual the perp, who in most cases makes decisions and takes actions detrimental to their personal safety as well as others, escapes without blame. But we’d hate to call a spade a spade and cast aspersions on a dead man now wouldn’t we?
