Because Illegals taking billions in tax payer money is no where near as important and vehicles that have been imported without paying the couple thousand in taxes that they were supposed to. They don't care how the money is spent... just that they get it.

Just way overkill to what was really needed. Why couldn't the couple simply have been served with a letter notifying them about the issue, with a time frame to bring the vehicle in for an examination. Just don't get the need for all of these agents and vehicles in this case.

Good to see DHS is hard at work keeping us safe from uhhh, old cars that may or may not meet emissions/crash standards, and showing that they'll send 6-7 vehicles to seize any vehicles in violation?

Pretty sure the proper response to this would be to just revoke the registration, which would take about 15min for a DMV clerk to type up a letter and mail it.

But hey, DHS has to justify those toys and budget somehow.
