Hood pins

I’ll post this here because it seems to get the most traffic but it applies to most cars with Fiberglass hoods. Do you need hood pins? Or is it just a recommendation? If you put hood pins on, who’s did you use? I am not really a fan of them but also don’t want my hood to pop open a triple digit speeds either. Post up some pics if you have them please.

I’ll have to dig thru and see if I can remember where I bought them. I think I bought them from the previous owner when I bought his hood.

Seems to be the norm…I would put them on. You’ll regret it the moment you need them.

The car used to be Procharged and we found the hood was trapping the heat up front and heating up the intake tube and messed up (2) BA5000 maf’s..
