They're unique, that's for sure. I like the one on the right best.

Idea is kinda neat, but the execution looks rushed. If you actually painted the rose buds fully around the piston and took your time or had them professionally air brushed I think they would make for cool mech-head gifts. The sloppiness of the rose detail just makes these in a "lol, thats kinda neat... okay so wheres my real gift/flowers!?" kinda situation.
