Correct Chassis HR942 was the last R off the line; I seen it the last day Ruby Red/Black Roof Electronics
Ruby Red with the black roof is nice! Too bad nearly 1,000 Rs were made for '17. I hope it's a really small number of '18s and '19s.
Yeah I think the car being rare has gone out the window and I’m meaning the 350 not the R. Still don’t see that many on the street though. Sent from my iPhone using svtperformance.com
You're right, not many on the road because alot of people dont drive them. They own them though. I've put 2,000 miles on mine in 2 weeks. And mine crushes oil.... like 5 quarts over that time. I'll put over 20,000 miles on it this year. I still cant believe how awesome these cars are. It's a masterpiece!!
Yup I’m one of those guys that only drives it on the weekend. It’s not a daily driver. I have about 4500 miles on mine it’s a 2017 and bought it March 2017. Sent from my iPhone using the svtperformance.com mobile app
they are a masterpiece. honestly the best car i have owned hands down. 5 quarts in 2000 miles?? seems a little steep doesn't it? i think ive gone through maybe 1/4 qt on mine ( now has 1,300 on the OD)
Yes, way to much oil. My dealer is performing an oil consumption test under the direction of ford as we speak.
ohhh yes, i remember reading about this in another thread. I cannot lie this makes me nervous about these cars. but it does seem to be much much worse in one in every 20 cars or so. ANY car that revs this high and this much performance will pull oil.
Does it depend upon how you drive it? You can’t beat on it too much during daily driving, or it is just part of the deal with these? My 2011 coyote did the same thing but not to the same degree.
