Thats my "old" setup.(Beast Kit w/Turbonetic 88mm) Quality and fitment were outstanding. Install instructions, and customer service were outstanding. 20psi, E85, 22deg of timing, Powerglide trans w/5000rpm stall it put down 827rwhp quite easily.

That engine has been one of my favorites for a long time.

What kinda track times did you put down with tha setup

And what is the new setup might I ask.

I ran a 6.24@112mph, but it split a cylinder sleeve on that run and ended the well abused WAP blocks life. I knew it was on borrowed time, so I wasn't too surprised when it happened. New setup is MMR's old backup race engine out of their black car that they sold. Consists of a billet 5.4L shortblock, heavily modified Cobra R heads w/stage 3 turbo cams, Sully intake, MMR's forward facing turbo headers feeding into my T88, A/W intercooler, Powerglide trans w/5,000rpm stall. Here's a couple pics of how it will roughly look(needs cleaned, stuff powdercoated etc.).

Why the switch to a smaller turbo?

Class Rules and we think it may be quicker this way quicker short times should net us quicker ETs (we never used all the power of the gt4788)

Are those the power and boost numbers you ran on the 8.9 pass?

Very impressive regardless

Boost yes power no 900rwhp was on race gas E98 and more timing that 8.9 was E85 26psi lower timing 13deg this was our first mid boost pass with the new setup we will creep up on the tune she will take more

I've got a couple of pics with MMR's seldom seen forward facing headers that comes with their Pro/DIY kit if anyone is interested.
