I love threads like this because the answers are so different.

How much dough for 500 hp? 2 g's?

I read the sig's for the mods, just curious how much cash people have put into them to get the numbers.

Balance is the key!
$2000.00 in straight power mods will do it. But what of upgrading suspension components for improved handling?
Balance is the key!

Mine handles pretty well for a boat. Just ask the porsche and bmw guys I killed on Woodside Road. My Wife is still mad at me for racing them.:-D

3" CB, K&N, Chip, and pulley. That should put you at:

440 RWHP ( about 520 at the engine)
460 TQ (about 540 at the engine)

Do it yourself about $1000
Pay to have it done about $1500 - $2000.

To get 500 RWHP? Thats a different story. Every bolt-on for the 03 Cobra.

500whp
$569.99 Amazon special--CAI, Pulley, Chip, Belt
$720 Magnaflow Catted X, Cat back--Full Line Exhaust
$399 lower pulley with 1 ring-- http://www.amazonracing.com/page1(03cobra).html

$1688.99

That should get you over 500whp and a good bit over 550rwtq, but you would definintely need some good tires (315 nitto's), better suspension, and some vented/slotted rotors with good pads to get you down from those triple digit speeds.

Yeah thats true, without the proper suspension you could still be running 12's with 600 rwhp.
