Anyone that is in the cone riding out Laura? I’m in orange and will be riding it out. I have to work until tomorrow morning when we get the plant shut down, then it’s ride out time. It looks a lot like Rita back in 2005 which I rode out and was pretty wild.

In League City, a few miles from the coast and midway between Houston and Galveston. The most recent forecasts aren't too alarming for this area, but if there's a drastic change, we're prepared to leave.

Followed forecasts from these guys for a few years- accurate and transparent without the MSM hype.
Space City Weather

Good luck in Orange.

I was wondering what it would be like on the ocean when I was jet skiing near Marathon in Florida a few weeks ago. I would imagine a terrible experience lol!

I'm in Deer Park. With the move east it doesn't look like we will get much here. We moved all of our outside stuff to the garage yesterday just in case the winds get bad. I don't want any of my stuff to damage someone elses property.

Man this is Texas, you know if we aren’t being beamed to death by the sun then it’s not good weather. Besides Im right beside The Woodlands vs you probably being down towards Willis where its still clear
