I freak out too when mine I hear a tick!

Wow so that's what the tick sounds like. Maybe my car as the tick? I figured I probably have a rod knocking but it sounds very similar. Here's how my car sounds.

My issue was lean in cold weather. But yes it's me you thinking of.

I wish man. I keep trying to get out to the garage but with the holiday season and all it's tough. Plus we have about 6" of the white stuff on the ground and over night temps of around 3F with nice daily highs of around 12F. Cobra's not getting out soon
I plan on pulling the kmember and oil pan and taking a peak. See if I can replace the spun bearing. If not motor's coming out and new long block will be on order.
