Hey,

Metco Motorsports is coming out with a new Idler Pulley for the 03 Cobra to help eliminate belt slippage and increase boost, which means more HP.

2 sizes available, It will depend on what size upper pulley you are using.

90 mm pulley for stock blower pulley
100 mm for undersize upper pulley

Approximate retail is $179.00

Pulleys can be purchased seperately, at a lower cost, without bracket. This will help decrease belt slippage and increase Bling! Bling! under the hood.

Made from 6061 T6 aluminum, Pulleys are hard coated anodized to 65 Rockwell (hardness), Both belt surface and bearing bore are coated for maximum durability.

Bearing is the same "***"(No, not gay word) brand as used by Ford in the stock idler pulley.(This bearing is sealed/lubricated for Lifetime use.)

Kits are complete with all hardware and instructions and require no modicfications to vehicles.

Just got off the phone with Metco today, Thought I would spread the word about this hot new product that I ordered today for my Lightning, They have kits for the L and the 03 Cobra. L pulley is approximately $199.00.

Take a look....Don't settle for second best, get the best one available..

See you guys at the track...:coolman:

That seems tight. No worries about the belt touching itself? (careful with that one ;-) )

You get what you pay for, Check the quality/material of the Amazon pulley and the Metco, no doubt in mind who's pulley I would buy.

ummmm....I think you might be biased towards the Metco for some reason, I mean how much do you know about the BILLETFLOW (sold by Amazon) unit?

Are you in some way implying that the "BilletFlow" setup is not as good quality or uses sub standard material?

be careful with this one

I met Amazon at NMRA Finals in BG last year. They make good stuff, Rick is a nice guy. Check out their pulley and then the Metco one, then decide for yourself. Amazon sells Metco lower pulleys for the Cobra.

Another option , get the one you want..

no, you didn't bash anyone...but you made comparisons on the "quality/material" of a very good product and you have no idea what you're talking about...and for that you got bashed :coolman:

edit: add to that the fact that I'm in a shitty mood tonight

The BilletFlow idler set-up that Amazon Racing sells uses a "factory" Ford pulley.

I was saying that the BilletFlow idler set-up is the one I would pick. It looks "factory", which I like.

No problem! That guy is obviously PRO-Metco. I like the stealth look.
