Tim is too modest to post this link, but I thought all of you would be interested. Tim Brown ran his 2000 Cobra R in the Combined GT1, GT2 and other GT Class race. The videos are from Seattle last weekend and one shows back into the car during qualifying, the other out the windshield for the race. Tim put the R on pole and won the race.

You have to remember that Tim is running his car in GT1 against some tube chassis cars and doing extremely well for a car with a stock tub.

Big congratulations on a job very well done under extreme pressure. Man I love that car.

If I'm not mistaken you really can't do much better than setting the pole and winning the race can you?:poke:

Thanks for posting that up! I always love watching Tim's race videos.

Too bad he doesn't have a rear camera view so we can see all of the cars he's wasting back there!!!!

I did have a rear camera but it shut off at the start. The video with the camera facing me is in the wet on rain tires. Here's one in the dry

Thanks for the comments everyone , Mark I also won at Portland the week before but started second and was lucky as the polesitter dropped out with power steering problems.

Yes , but also is a great parts car if a R only component breaks on the race R.
The cool part is that they are consecutive vin #'s but not build #'s.

I am not likely to sell it , too much time and money to ever get rid of it. Hard to believe I've been racing with the R for over 10 years
