I wanted to see what the pulley and tune would do... The DA was 3100 feet and I couldn't hook for sheit I did run a new best of 12.20 at 117mph with a 1.94 60' but the other runs were all over the place. I saw a 2010 GT500 go 14.2 at 107 so I felt better about my runs.
The car has 2.93 upper stock lower, tuned by Jon Lund, K&N FIPK, SLP cat back and Nitto 555 DR's

That was a 1.94 60' I've had 1.80 60's on the same tires
Good shit man. 3100ft above sea level ? If so, thats very impressive with minor mods.
Thanks, the density altitude was 3100ft the track elevation is 1200ft

Sounds good, but part of the hooking problem could have been not going around and backing into the water. All the water from your front tires was tracking water all the way to the line that your rears were picking up.

Good run

I've always done it that way... I can usually manage a 60' in the low 1.8's. Only the AWD cars go around the water box.

Ya, you should go around the water box if your running the stock wheel/tires up front. 1.80 60's is pretty good with shittos. The best I got out of mine with 275/17 nittos was 1.83 with the eaton and 2.76 pulley. Very good run though.

No you should go around unless you have 3.5" wide front tires.

Yep, unless you are running pizza cutters up front go around the water. I know that you have cut 1.8's prior, now you may get into the 1.7's :burnout:

Good runs. I am heading to the track myself in about an hour. It is going to be 92 and humid so I am expecting a DA of around 4-5000. We are actually only at about 1100ft elevation. It almost makes me not want to go.

Yes go around the water box, your front tires will drag water up to the starting line with you a lot of the time.

I'll give it a try the next time I go... :burnout:

nice shifting man!
Thanks, I just put a Fiore firewall clutch adjuster and a Steeda quadrant in the car and it helps a bunch with the speed shifting.

I went just to see what my new pulley and tune would do... I wasn't expecting too much lol I ran a 12.28 at 117.9 in cool weather with the stock tune/pulley so maybe an 11.x in some better weather and grip.

Nice, looks like you could get that ET down some more with a better 60'. You could probably pull a 1.70 with those tires.
