Gene yes mine currently is a new core from Dec 2018. The failures I know of are from the earlier designs.
If you count in the pics above it’s 12 rows stock, 16 rows KB.
Great gains to be had in the lower intake, you’re big Whipple will be happy

Tried to measure backpressure first time I had it on the dyno by plumbing an autometer boost gauge above ic and comparing with boost numbers. It looked like 27-29 psi above ic above 6500 rpm but it was hard to tell as the needle bounced a little actual boost under ic was 24psi. I bet now there is only 1-1.5 psi drop.
