Hey guys sorry if this is a repost. I found this video (not mine) and it is just makin me scratch my head. Bone stock WS6 takes down a ightly modded '13 5.0.

2013 Mustang GT vs Bone Stock WS6 - YouTube

Let me know what you guys think, am I missing something? The WS6 is maybe a 108 trapping car at best and the mustang with those mods should be 112-113.

Auto in the 5.0 causing the issue? Only 374 RWHP with a tune and exhaust?

Still about 60whp more than the WS6 lol. No where on paper should the WS6 win, yet it does. Also notice that the 5.0 gets a significant head start too.

This is really puzzling me

Only one possible explanation. Vette members on this forum here staged this race :)

Not sure if I buy that WS6 being stock. I see a pretty bright shift light flaring up(maybe this is stock?? Not a WS6 rocket scientist)

If it is truly stock. I'd point towards the tune being the issue here. Clearly the proper changes for the JLT & TiVCT aren't made.

Not a chance it's legit.

I had a LS1 Trans Am and with bolt ons and a small cam it was only a 112mph car full weight.

My 5.0, full weight with only a tune and DRs went 114mph

BS on bone stock

not saying this is a 100% tell, but the T/A had a shift light, the guy races the car.... what are the chances that the car is bone stock.... 50:1??

im pretty sure that ls1 isnt true" bone stock" like the guys around my area here say " bone stock" and they have , slp lid, and or a mid pipe / no cats and or catback and or gears, and usually run new clutches and or drag radials / tire. and maybe some weight reduction? would make sense. stock would be around 270-315rwhp. with the bolt on mods around 320-330rwhp and stock prob a 105-108 trapping car, maybe with mods 110-112. the 5.0 stock is around a 110-112 trapping car around 350-370rwhp with the bolt ons around 112-116 trapping car and 370-400rwhp.. and the mustang was an auto car and ws6 is a manual so the transam had the upper hand from a roll race. but even if the ls1 is lighter the mustang makes alot more power it doesnt add up ? so Idk .

In the beginning of the video it says the TA made 360 rwhp. It's probably got boltons. But that still doesn't make sense cause with the 5.0s mods it should be in the 10s. LOL J/K
