As expected....14 is lighter. Dude in the 15 was driving fine. Lets see these two platforms modded up. If this is 93 all over again, with the LT1 again......

dude in the 15 cant drive... pretty even while in gear, or pulling, but as soon as it comes time to shift he loses ground. Street races have 101 different variables anyways, but you cant look at this and conclusively say "14>15"

A 96 GT (4.6 2V) would have hard time beating a 95 GT (5.0 pushrod). On the flip side, a 96 Cobra (4.6 4V) was quicker than the 95 Cobra (slightly upgraded pushrod 5.0).

I had a new Black/Black 95 Cobra, had 240 hp and ran mid 14's untouched if I remember correctly. Then the 96 came out with 305 hp and cracked the 14 sec 1/4 mile barrier in tests. Wish I still had the 95, maybe someday I'll look for a 100% bone stock one that hasn't been ravaged by mods.
