Is my GT a track pack I'm not sure

I bought my GT back in December and have always though it's a track pack but need some reassurance if it is or isn't one , what do I need to be looking for ? What does a real track pack come with?

Also you can just plug in your VIN to see the window sticker which should show whether you have the Track Pack or not.

also the aluminum finned differential cover and the thicker boss radiator.

Look at the diff cover... If it's finned aluminum then it's track pack.

If it's black painted stamped steel then it's not track pack.

My California Special has a finned aluminum cover and it's not a track pack. Check the Vin is the sure way

Hey DsG,

With the description you are giving, there is a great chance that your car is indeed a track pack, but as others have stated, the easiest way to check it to check the oil cap! The Track Pack will call for 5W50 while the rest will call for 5W20.

Nah, I have a base 13 GT with Brembos, 3.31 gears, and track pack wheels.

What do you mean it doesn't have the equipment option? If your window sticker doesn't list the Track Pack, then you don't have a track pack car.

Yup, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my housing was painted from the factory. Wish they would have painted the vibration dampers on either side though.
