I drive mine every single weekday to/from work, highway I-95, & bumper-to-bumper (Capital Beltway ouch!). I have driven it the last 7 weekends to/from Pittsburg & NJ about (400 miles RT) for youth hockey stuff.
I've put ~5K KB-miles since Aug. The KB is maintenance-free, and as tame, or as pyscho as you want to WOT it. I've also had about 30 fun runs at the track.
The "Devil Racer" isn't there for me on the street, as he gets his yah-yah's out at the track. But, there are sections of hilly, twisti-road around my home & late at night when no one is out, and it's cool out (like now), the windows are rolled down, the V-1 is on, the XM is cranked, I make that KB scream like there is no tomorrow.
Yes, IMO the KB is ready for DD use.
