i think its just a chi.. just has long legs.
i have a teacup chi that is the same color..black/brown.
cant go by color

one of my dogs just had merle chiweenies (half chihuahua/half dauson).. heard they sell for 500. i didnt breed them to sell them though.

It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks as if the right eye might have corneal edema and neovascularization that could indicate a corneal ulcer or other pathology. I would have it looked at ASAP, it may be a trick of the flash or it could be a problem. The left eye looks like it may simply have lenticular sclerosis which is an age related buildup of protein in the lens that is not clinically significant. Of course if the appearance did come on suddenly then again it needs to be checked out by a veterinarian.

And I believe everyone is correct that it is indeed a chihuahua.

and then i accidently let them break the purebreed... the black chihuahua in the first post hit my dauchsund up... and it produced Chiweenies... 2 are merle's with a bleached coat (and blue eyes maybe)..then the other 3 are black/brown like the dad.

That's what my dog Shelby is, a Chiweenie. He's just over 3yrs old now (top dog) and my friend just got one for herself today, his name is Paxton
